Infrequently (4 -5 weeks?), the Brake light appears in the cockpit. It always goes away after resetting the Brake Reservoir cap. Fluid level is normal and brake operation is normal. If I were to do a Remove and Replace or Cleaning or some other adjustment myself in order to avoid a hefty dealer "diagnosis" charge, what would be my best bet?

#9 on here. Check the wiring attached to the lid to see if it's frayed at all . Also check a junkyard before buying new
