100k tune up

100k tune up

my 99 TL is creeping up on 100k...i know i need to do plugs and a timing belt..anything else i should be aware of??

just bought the car in the fall and i have no previous service history on it...sucks about buying used..any way to tell?

The ONLY way to know that all the fluids are fresh is to change them!

Seafoam, NGK plugs, water pump, timing belt/tensioner, maybe hoses
and as Fsttymes says flush out the power steering and brake fluids- they are probably nasty- check the brake pads
And of course the ol transmission flush will help too

^ Not much at all if you do it your self. Most all of it is very easy and there are DIYs here on how to do it. All at once having a shop/dealer do it your looking at atleast 1k

extremely happy...the smoke stays around about the same amount of time as a burn out does...goes away pretty quick...but theres shitloads

search seafoam, u will see a thread that says seafoamed the ol TL or something llike that...that thread has a perfect DIY with good pictures
