Hows it going..

I recently bought a 99 TL, and I noticed that the rear view mirror always stays the bronze tinted color???


It doesnt matter if I push the Auto button on the bottom or not, it just stays tinted with a slight cresent of normal looking mirror toward the top....


so what is causing this, is the mirror bad, or could it be a fuse?

When the auto button is pushed, the green indicator light does turn green indicating power i guess?

Anyone have any ideas? or has anyone encountered this problem?

The mirror is failing and there is some risk it could even leak and damage your interior.
