The climate system doesn't maintain a set temperature in my 02 TLS. If I set it at 70 degrees, it usually blows cold, like it is set at 60 degrees. To get the temp up to an actual 70-degree temp I have to raise the temp setting to 80+…..then after a few minutes at the 80+ setting the temp blows an actual 80+ and I have to run the temp setting back down to 60 to get an actual 70 temp. Very distracting while driving

Anyone have this problem before? I hope it's an easy (and cheap) fix!

 

Yep, same problem here and same solution. Yep, very distracting and solution doesn't always work well. I just turn it up and turn it down and turn it up and...

 

We can't be the only two in the country with this problem. Does anyone out there have a fix? When my car was under warranty, the dealer (Hopkins Acura, Redwood City CA) said they wouldnt' know where to begin to fix the problem.....not a confidence-inspiring deler, to put it mildly.
