00 tl-p guage cluster into my 99 tl-p
well pick em up today, and i poped them in, only thing maint light is on, and my temp needle doesnt read right temps. when i start the car it goes from dead cold, then jumps all the way over the "h" can anyone help me fix this prob? to restore the right temp. i saw in another thread to make type s gauge work had to re route the wires n such, can someone shed some light on me plz?
o yes btw, it is 5 spd, but when u put it in 4th, no light shows up, in 3rd it shows up, vise versa for neutral.

i saw that thread on how to make type s fit the 99s, seems a little complicating, but im willing to give it a shot, all that soldering tho, maybe ill use the 00 gauges as a tester.

another question
if i take out the whole temp/fuel gauge unit (by takin it out from bending back those clips) can i put it on my 99 circut board and will it work?
