***P0325 (Knock Sensor)*** Help!

Hello,

I have a P0325 knock sensor code popping up. When giving the car a fair amount of gas in 3rd gear my /!\, TCS and CEL light pop on. I ran the computer and this is the only code it gave me.

I have poked around a bit and it sounds like it is DIY project that takes an hour or so? Do you need to take the manifold off? I have a comptech supercharger on there, does that change anything?

I called a shop and he quoted 4 hours of labor and $60 for the part. And said maybe add two or three with the Supercharger. Does that seem right? People made it sound like it took less time than that.

Thanks!

The sensor is beneath the intake manifold. There may be a way to get to it without removing the IM but I kinda doubt it. Word is that the sensor has a plastic housing that gets brittle over time.

BTW nice on the S/C I've never been able to figure out where they put the battery though. Care to enlighten me? :P

99% of times is the wiring not the sensor, Mice chew up the wire leaving no connection between the sensor and the ECU.
