Hey 1 to 10! Ten being the hardest. How would ou rate your experience working with carbon fiber and would you recommend some one use vinyl wrap cf instead. Any tips or advice? Thanks.

i would probably rate it a 7 or 8. it's not for beginners. i only started working with CF after i got exposure to it through my university.
worst part of CF work is that it's so time consuming. you need A LOT of patience or else it's not going to come out like you imagined. best advice i could give is to take your time, watch a lot of youtube tutorials, and possibly work with someone else who has done CF work already. that's basically what i tried to do.
as for CF vinyl wrap... i've never used it lol. i think it looks like poop IMO.

Looks like a work in progress good job. Can't wait to get my c.w.p smh. My mom said one of her friends had a secret compartment for his gun in his car but it was on some 007 shh lol she said he hit a few button then a tray slide out under the dash with his gun.

Im not gonna keep the gun in my car.. just yet. Another year or so and i will.
Heres the finished product!
Finished up the holster and im diggin it . Tried to follow some of the curves of the M&P, put on some jeans to test the retention and draw and it was pretty smooth.
Now if Mr.Red Wheels over here can make it in REAL Carbon Fiber then it'll be NICE!

Hey just ordered a pair of projectors for my low beams. I found the same projectors but bi-xenon that i will use for my high beams. I am thinking of buying the red leds to make demon eyes 2.

base 2.0 5AT with paddle shifters. so far the only think i like about it is the standard keyless ignition and push button start. it's a really cool feature and it actually works really well. i wish i had it on my 2G.
i would say 0-60 is too slow for me to care about maybe high 7's?
pros:
-keyless ignition
-good low end torque, great in city
-gas mileage
-quiet, low wind noise (rare for Honda/Acura)
-feels like it has more than 150hp (maybe 175 lol)
cons:
-no top end power
-slow
-awkward proportions
-controls too complex
-too many buttons on steering wheel (i stopped counting at 12)
-cheap feel
-overpriced
-loose steering feel
-16 inch wheels? 205 tires? seriously?
-rear window too small, hinders visibility
-base sound system is rubbish (not ELS)
-more rear leg room in a civic
-trunk opening is minuscule
verdict:
I would just buy a CPO 2G TSX w/Tech pack if you really want an entry level luxury 4cyl sedan with decent gas mileage and a lot of tech.

My friend got that loaner last month.
I'm short (5'6") and my head was almost hitting the headliner. You can throw that thing around but everything was so cramped in. Dash, controls, yadda yadda. Back area was not better. It should've been a 2 door IMO.
I still want to drive the manual version though.

Oh yeah
But come on, times have changed right? Should come with 17s standard, especially for the price that you're paying for this.
Anyways, I got a chance to drive it around more and on the highway as well. I have no doubt in my mind that you could average 35 mpg on the highway at 70 mph. It's actually not a bad commuter car for people who know nothing nor care about cars.
I still maintain my verdict though. If you are going to spend 26k on a Japanese 4cyl 4dr, get a CPO TSX.
But here are some more features I noticed and like very much:
-auto up/down on driver and passenger windows
-lane change turn signal thing (push the stalk a little bit and the blinker auto flashes 5 times)
-auto headlights
-LED map lights
-standard USB input for mp3 player
And some additional things I noticed and didn't like:
-projectors but no HID's
-no exhaust tips
-no power driver's seat on base model
-complex controls get even more mind boggling at night

been driving the ILX for 4 days now. it's growing on me but i still wouldn't spend my own money on it.
still love the keyless ignition and the gas mileage, but dislike everything else.

the repairs on this car are raping my wallet thinking about cutting my losses and parting out again.....
if i'm not able to replace it, i'm at least going back to stock. i need something more reliable.

Rear O2 and 4th gear PS. Nothing major but the maintenance bills are adding up to the point where I could drive a newer car for the same price as this one.
Lately a low mileage 07 CTS V has been calling my name....

i want to badly. i'm working out the logistics right now. i made a part out list with underestimated prices. if i sell everything, plus the car, i'll have a nice down payment for the V.
this would be my goal. it's way overpriced but i can haggle them down.

i'll drive the car down for you if you buy it 8500 as is.
ebay front and rear. i wouldn't recommend the front. major fitment issues for the front upper control arm. it's larger than the OEM one so it hits and doesn't have a full range of motion. needs major modification to work and will require that you use only two bolts to hold in the ball joint, and not all 4 (if you look at control arm camber kits, you'll see what bolts i'm talking about). not sure how safe that is.
ebay rear kit is fine though.

i'll still be active on this forum. still haven't found another that's as good and easy to use as Azine. you'll see me in car talk.
gonna do one last photoshoot of the car as is. then one with the red winter wheels. then it's all going back to stock completely.

Well that sucks I remember seeing your car with aspecs before I joined so I picked up a set. If it weren't for me seeing your car it would've still been stock. Are you going for the cts v because that is one sweet ride?
