would a carbon fiber hood go with the TL?
i was thinking of getting a carbon fiber hood. i don't know if it would look strange with my silver TL. anyone bothering to get a carbon fiber hood for the TL?

I think it might look alright. And if it doesn't you can always have it painted body color. Forward weight reduction is another plus.

I would say yes immediately if you had a black car. There's no question, of course you should get a Carbon fiber hood.
But on Satin Silver Metallic, I would say if you had a 35% tint or darker, if you had gunmetal wheels, and if you painted your headlight housing black like VDo's. And had a Kit spoiler and drop. then yes the CF hood would be a nice addition.

If I got into an accident and messed up my hood, then I would consider the CF hood. But I'm definitely not gonna pay out of my pocket for it. I would do I/H/E/pullies/VAFC/SC/brakes all before the CF hood.

CF hood looks good on NBP...it would look hot..It might look good on silver...I mean I have seen BMWs with CF hood.. it looks good..But I would do it last...I want to get it for my NBP but headers is on my next list
