I was hoping to go authentic aspec style with my headlights, but since teh chrome on the turn signal area is so sensitive, i'm forced to sand it and paint that area NBP also, even after trying to fix it with chrome/silver leafing.

So since its not going to be authentic aspec style, i'm leaning towards clearing them as well, but after searching the boards it seems the one guy that made the clear diffusers for the headlights does not produce them anymore.

So i was hoping people that have cleared their headlights and just not used any diffuser could take some pics so i can have a good idea if its going to look good or not.

Actually, nevermind about the pic request, i got to thinking about some options and decide i'm going to smoke out the amber side marker instead, thats should flow nice with the blacked out housing and nbp exterior.

For a quick comparison i just put a piece of black plastic bag behind the reflector on the right to simulate the smoked amber effect. So now i just have to paint the inside of that and the bottom and sidewall of the turn signal area to complete it.
