Have a 2002 Black/Black TL-S w/Nav. Love the power and overall style of the car, but not in love with the front bumper design of the car, so I'm thinking of putting the OEM body kit on the car. Thinking of buying it from this site (for $830, is it a good deal?) but the local Acura dealer wants $450 for installation (what a rip off!). So, my question is do you need to jack up the car and remove the wheels to install the kit. Thanks.
naw...
just turn them side to side when installin' it to the fenders so you can get your hands in there....
it's really easy to install...
i did mine w/out lifting the car up at all and my car was lowered...
but i had a 99TL... i'm pretty sure yours is more or less the same principle,
goodluck

i think you will have to jack up your car to install kits on the 02 tl, coz' you will need to drill couple of holes for the front lip....
and NO, don't install it at the dealers. you didn't get the kits when you got the car so you won't have warranty on them anyway. do it outside will cost you around 100, and if you have a jack and a drill, do it yourself

yeah...lifting the car up makes the job 10x easier...
you can steer the front tires to make it easier to install and yeah...and I had to take off my rears...
I would definitely recommand to do it yourself...it's fun...playing with your car and all.
