So, I finally got tired of ArTL-S and everyone else dogging my TL-S for its un-tinted windows. It completely changed the look of the car. I walked out to my car this morning to go to school and thought, this isn't my car. lol It looks completely sexy! I can't roll my window's down for 4 days though! I almost went Limo in the back and Legal in the front, but I didn't want the transition. I thought it wouldn't look as good. Almost went legal all the way around, but decided it was too light. So, I went "midgrade" all the way around. Front window's are illegal, but I passed a cop today and nothing. It looks dark from far away, but if you get close to the car you can see in. I like the look I got.Only charged me $125 and I got to pick whatever I wanted. Did the backglass in one piece and it came out great! No moisture bubbles or air bubbles... Looks very smooth. My rear window brake light no longer works? I'm guessing he unhooked it? He tinted it too, so I don't have the ugly untinted area. Anyways, enough rambling. Here are some pics!

About the drop, I don't like the big gap between the tires and the bottom on the car when the car is dropped without the lip kit. I see no lip kit in my near future, so no drop. lol

Looks good! But I think that third brake light may be required by law, and even if it isn't, it's a good thing to have

 

I thought I read somewhere that it was required by law. I don't know, I usually use it to adjust my rear view mirror at night. I thought maybe the tint was dark and I just couldn't see it. But today I checked it, and it doesn't work at all. Doesn't even come on.

If I get the OEM Spoiler will it count as my 3rd brake light?

when i tinted my car it looked different and much better too....sometimes i just looked (stared) at the car and I know you do that sometimes and thats ok....or maybe your over that by now. About the third brake light, as long as the light is visible through the tint when you brake its all good.....ive had mine tinted for about 3 years and no problems ever about tints at all. Perfect choice on %

 

i highly disagree but thats just my im tellin you just a simple h&r sports+tokico hp set up wont break the bank and you wont be sacrificing OE ride quality. the drop will set off the car man.. even without a kit personally i dont think im going to run a kit

 

its ok as soon as i get about 500 more bux mine will be dropped on ksports and rollin on Work FS2 WITH NO LIP KIT

btw, your 3rd brake light was unhooked. i found that out when i first got my tint. for some reason they have to unhook the bulbs. so open your trunk, look underneath where the 3rd brake light is, and the bulbs should be hanging there.. although tint looks great! especially on a WDP! haha

 

im going to redo my tint next month. Limo tint in the back and 35 in the front

Looks to dark for my taste. But Just so you know, It does not need to sit there for 4 days. 48 hours are enough to let film to settle down.

Well it has a lifetime warranty and if I don't let it sit for 4 days, it voids my warranty.

about the cops, they cant pull you over for tints alone, its a second offense.. so basically they gotta find another reason to pull you over, then if they're dicks, they'll check the tints too. in my case i told him "i didnt know it was illegal? they were already on the car when i bought it?" then i started asking him what % was legal and all that BS and acting dumb and he let me off with a warning lol

Your auto dim still working on your rearview? After mine was done I thought for sure it wouldnt work anymore but it still does just fine. +1 on the comment about tinting around the 3rd light-glad you didnt let them do that. It looks tacky when people do.

Im with the others re: drop. My car is just like yours (needs one bad) and soon as I get ~500 Im going to get some blues and HR sports.

 

OK so when i get a ticket from the punk cops out here Ill send it to you so you can pay it. I had it on my civic Limo on the rear and 35 in the front. When you have Limo tints in the back of your car the really dont notcie the front

damn i've never seen that combo before. darker in the front and lighter in the back??? If i were you i'd go 20% all around. right now i have 20% back and 35% front but now i wish i would have gone 20% all around even though i dont really mind the lighter front.
