Well this project was brewing in my head for about a year and after another member bought my TSX retrofitted headlights I was aching to do another retrofit for myself Did this one in about 2 days and three nights, straight. Finished up the project before moving to NH and will be installing them on my car in a few days. I have to run special wiring for the S2k projectors/ballasts and also the CCFL angel eyes, so that each can be run individually without being bound by another. Ok, i'll spill the beans, the main low and hi beam are provided by the 3G TL projectors with ZKW lenses and the S2ks are for auxiliary low beam.

I dont do retrofits as a profession, i have had requests by other members to do retrofit jobs for them but it just takes too much time and effort to properly install them and adjust them, anyone can slap a couple of projectors in the headlights but making sure that you align it properly is the tough part. Not only do you have to worry about aligning them properly horizontally and vertically but they cut off line has to be properly aligned as rotation wise.

As far the CCFLs for 99-01, i'll test fit some to see how they look. These ones are originally made for E46 BMW.

I am not selling these right now but come back and check with me in a year or untill i have another idea worked up for myself, then i might sell you these at cost ( which by the way is close to $1500, excluding the labor)

I would have better visibility while driving being blind folded than that 8K poop. I believe an 8000K bulb produces 1500~2000 Lumens compare that to the 3100 Lumens, by the way your standard halogen bulbs produce 1000 lumens

is that an accord headlamp!? That looks sick, your TL retro looks like its coming along nicely, what are you gonna do with the directional on the TL? Guys 1500 for these would actually be a pretty good price, i bet JNC has already spent hours on those housings, labor/parts arent cheap, and these are totally custom fabricated, looks good JNC

yup, this type of super custom work is quite costly. if you want it done right, you have to pay for it! Mine also came to about $1200, and thats becuase I scored a sick deal on the projectors. If not it would have been closer to 1500. JNC check PM

yeah you right dude but not everyone in this forum got $1500 to drop on headligts. Is the way you drive that matters not how many lumens you got on your bulbs.

If $1500 will make me or any other guy on the forum drive like michael schumacher then lets do a group buy and sign a few hundred people up, you woudlnt need to sign up, I take you already know how to drive like him .

Back to something more pertinent, to each their own, I have already gotten into enough trouble with just I/H/E with the state police and i dont think a supercharger would have helped my cause and if these lights can help me see better and avoid hitting a few deers at night then toche.

Who says Michael schumacher its the best driver? Retrofits are nothing but a waste of money. You get into an accident and you shit is in the garbage. I wish you good luck on doing a group buy that no one is gonna be in to. . If you got a into a lot of trouble with the state police with just I/H/P that tells me what kind of driver you are. So like i said before your headlights is not gonna help you for shit when it comes to your driving skills.

I would argue with you but i know its just a waste of time because i have already said that to each their own. For instance you might like to spend thousands into the stereo and to me it is just waste of money because its not money that you are spending to hear better music but just to make sure that others listen to what you are listening to as well.

I never said that my headlights would make me a better driver or that i will feel better driving at high speeds. The whole notion behind the headlights or any other mods is to do what ever makes you happy not others. If the whole point of buying a car is to get from point A to point be then a Ford Pinto can do that job as well.

So i'd say just be happy with your 8000K bulbs and i'll try to make the best of my headlights

P.S Michael Schumacher is the best driver and i dont say it history does.
