DE laws are anything on the rear 3 and nothing on the front 2. so im breaking the law with 20 or even 35 all around. so why not go all out with 5's? i've always wanted limo all around..

I agree, I have 15% sides and rear, and 35% full windshield. I love it. I have paid my tax 5 times now. lol

I like the look of dark tints. I'd go ~20% if it were me, just to maintain acceptable visibility at night ( ).

But you do what you like and it's good by me.

A lot of the tint laws are pathetically stupid (RI, NY, IL, NJ, MI, etc), BUT, like it or not, they are laws. Depending on where you are, expect to get hassled and/or fined.

If/When that happens, don't do what so many of the little girls around here do and start whining about the "cops hate me" or "F'n pigs just want to hassle me" or "I didn't do nothing wrong, tint laws are stupid". Man up and pay your tint tax.

Good job on the tint, Pretty surprise that you got it done in so little time. I spend a lot of time in my friends tint shop and with 3 people working it usually takes them about 35 minutes to finish. As expected the rear window is the most time consuming, and you have to know how to form the tint on the rear window just right or else you'll ruin it.

I hope you picked quality tint or else you would just regret doing it in the first place as lower quality tint will fade and bubble in a short amount of time.

its good quality tint (3m I believe). Its far from a perfect job, but its satisfactory considering im on a tight budget (still in high school lol). i will get it professionally retinted when i have a lot more money.

i feel like the thing with dark tints (20%-5%) you're More likely to get pulled over than if you have 35% since it's much easier for a cop to notice really dark tints which is why I went with 35% reflective on my tl.
