Plastidipped Stock Rims

was bored one sunday afternoon so i plastidipped my stock rims matte black. it turned out pretty good. i didnt sand or prime anything just washed rims and sprayed on. if i get bored of it plastidip comes off really easily just peel off like vinyl

looks great but I would have liked a lil gloss to them....

thanks but if i paint them gloss then i would have to go thru the whole process of sanding and priming and what not.

this was a easy fast job

true....and the best part is, you can peel it off it you dont like it LOL....

i dont think plastidip is meant to be glossy.

i used 1 can took me about 3 hours did 2 wheels at a times waiting 15 mins in between coats it would be faster if you take off all 4 wheels i was too lazy so i covered the car with blanket and shoved newspaper behind the wheel to cover brakes and just sprayed

i gotta do that door trim soon does it just pop off does anyone know?

no. it would be awesome if it just popped off. DO NOT try and take it off. it is a bitch and a half and you will break all the clips.

u can now make ur plastidip into plastigloss or plastimetallic
with the same old plastic result

might as well tape off the sides and hit it up with that plastidip.
