PIX REQ: 02-03 TYPE S on H&R Sport Springs

I'm planning to lower my car on H&R Sport springs and would like to see how low it is. Also, how is the comfort and handling? Thanks!

there are a million threads and pictures about H&R sport springs. just search.

anyways back to the question. handling won't be that noticible with just springs. it helps to have a lower point of gravity tho. the comfort is near stock. little stiffer, but i'm still on stock shocks. if u are planning to change out the shocks too. a lot of people have said tokico blues are very close to stock.

Thanks death! Your car is pimpin! Is it about two fingers gap in the front and the rear? Are you running on stock shocks?

CL Platano, that's a nice drop. Looks like two fingers gap. Am I right? I don't want to slam my car. I just want a nice drop like that. Is there a big difference in handling and comfort between H&R on stock struts and Tein SS coilovers?

Its night and day , I love these coilovers 100x more than the springs. Since you dont want to slam it you should be fine and not need a camber kit. In regards to handling it wont be cornering like a Bimmer but get front and rear sways and you'll notice a huge difference.

You will need alignment, but since it's used, you can pretty much do alignment right away. No need for camber kit as mine didn't. You will have little uneven tire wear but rotation on schedule will take care of that.

Thx man, yeah it's about two fingers gap in the front & rear & I'm running on stock shocks. So far they are holding up well with little to no bounce...

Beautiful car...yet...somber.....with the cemetary background. At least the car color matches the picture theme!

I love my H&R's..make sure you get 50103 part number and an alignment about 500 miles of driving on the new springs will help out. I would recommend getting an alignment pack which will allow you 4 alignments for $69 - $99. This way, you can get your car aligned when you get them put in and there is a little bit of settling of the springs and then get it re-aligned after some driving. I did this and my alignment was a bit off on the 2nd alignment about 1000 miles driving on the new springs. Just my experience. I still don't need a camber kit, I fall within spec each time.
