all I can say is "a dropped TL looks better than a stock TL" IMO. so just get it lowered

what kind of coils are you saving up for...

with springs.. how many miles are on your original shocks?

are you gonna buy new shocks for the springs?

how much are you gonna spend total on the springs and shocks?

why not just get coilovers if you're gonna get springs and shocks cuz its about the same price.

what is the max you'd spend?

so many questions...

Well, I was thinking about getting just springs on my stock shocks but I heard that its not good to put em on there. I don't know if the previous owner ever changed the shocks but right now my car has 93k on it.

The previous owner probably never had them changed. Just play it safe and buy some shocks and springs...or coilovers

go shopping..

write down prices of what it is and which site along with shipping costs...

shock w/ spring etc etc

and then coilovers...

compare prices and stuff. choose cheapest and there ya go.

How long have you guys been running those? I heard that its inevitable that the stock shocks will go out soon with aftermarket springs on em.

^^why take a chance on that? I mean if you have access to a shop where you can get free alignments and dont mind breaking everything down again-go for it.

OP: That high mileage youre probably due for shocks anyways especially if the roads are like everyone says they are up there. I didnt think my shocks were all that bad until I took them out and saw how weak they were. (@125K)
