Hey guys. I was hoping one of you could help me out. I want to get the faux wood interior trim painted white, but don't know how that will look given the color of my interior. If anyone would be kind enough to give it a go for me that'd be great. Thanks.
the white will look tacky. do it like this

I know what you mean. I like the black, but with the interior being kind of blueish-gray I'm not sure how black would look. I am at a loss as to what color wouldn't look bad.
Edit: The one thing I am thinking about doing is getting a 2000-2001 FRP TL with a black interior and doing all of the interior pieces in the same exact color, which would be done when getting the engine covers painted. We'll see.

Wow, thanks for all of the help guys! As sad as it may seem, I find the darker looking wood trim to be the best looking, both brown and black. If only it would be cheap to acquire those pieces from different years/color interiors.
Straight up, the dark grey colored wood grain look doesnt look bad at all. Actually matches best with your grey iniside, but also solid black wouldnt look bad either. Idk, grey is such an off color IMO. I dont know what Acura charges for the other year TL's Grey colored wood grain pieces for your doors etc but you could always do that and it would still look good. But if ur lookin to put some other color other then grey in your inside, then id say go black or nothing at all because leaving that stock wood grain look in there up against all that grey just aint cuttin it. Atleast thats what i think ur best option is. Oh and ur wood grain thats in your car is the came color and darkness as any other model TL that has the brown woodgrain. Its all the same. One isnt lighter or darker then the other. The flash from the camera in the picture makes the woodgrain appear lighter when in reality its darker.
