you definitely improved the look of your car with the new wheel choice
I agree with what jjashaa mentioned about the fronts looking more flush than the rears. Aside from that, the only thing I think might help would be a diff size tire.
Looking at how they sit, I'm guessing the wheels are 8 or maybe 8.5 wide, and the tires (to me) look like 215/35s. I think a 235/35 or even 225s would make the wheel/tire combo fill the wheel well better and also eliminate some of the left over gap, without having to lower the car more (since you said you would rather leave it at that height for a while). Not a cost effective option right now, but maybe when or if you get new tires.
