"Nismo Style" exhaust on TL
I had a mini meet today with a few ppl I met, and one of them rides a 00 TL. I didn't have my camera with me so pics were taken with a friend's cellphone (sorry for quality). This guy has a custom "Nismo style" slant exhaust on his TL along with many other mods(SRI, Comptech Headers, Slotted/Drilled Rotors, 10K HID, foglights, WW kit, WW spoiler, Neon lights, etc.)

His kit isnt too bad when you see it yourself. I was amazed when he told me that he actually painted the kit himself at Auto Body & Paint class has his school. Guess those courses really help lol

Stickers (especially the big ACURA one), weird looking spoiler, slant exhaust, painted b-pillars, 10K HIDS, black underbody kit two-tone theme, NEONS!!! OMG! That is the SICKEST TL I'VE EVER SEEN!!!
J/K of course. I don't mind the body color pillars or the even the slant exhaust, but the rest of the car looks cheapened by the other mods he did to it. Tell your friend to join acurazine, we can help him before it's too late!
I would've probably liked this car when I was younger...

haha ya hes the kinda guy that goes out racing alot from what i know. well i met the guy today for the first time and i did tell him about Acurazine.

Hopefully people looking at the TL/CL will find this site or AW and learn the proper ways of modding a luxury car though...there is a difference. I'm all for performance mods and looks mods, but it should be done tastefully on certain cars. If I ever see altezza tailights made for the TL I swear I'm gonna have to sell mine.

some one played a little bit two much nfs underground but on a side note if he lost the neons painted his body kit the color of his car lost the big stupid acura sticker and lowered it the exhaust would look sick

I can't tell from the pics, but let me guess.... are the muffler tips also "titanium?" By that I mean those purplish-blue rings right at the end of the tips. There's not a single tasteful modification on that TL.... aside from maybe the AEM SRI, and the wheels are just okay.

That spoiler looks ridiculous, the neons are bad, the decals are bad, 2-tone monte carlo style is bad, and his 4x4 stance to name a few. I would prolly laugh at this kid if I saw him on the road. I knew we would start seeing riced out TLs. Makes me sick..

sorry i'm not feeling the exhaust or the entire car actually. there isn't anything i like about it. not hating or anything, but just not my preference for mods. his car made the lip kit look bad... now that's bad!!

Ok, as an owner of a 2nd Gen TL with a WW rear lip and spoiler and an exhaust that looks kinda like that, I have to say that this guy did it all wrong.
It should look something like this:

now thats done rite with the exhaust btw love the spoiler and the one above the back window.
