New Pics with Canover Air suspension..

Well, I have had the Canovers in for a few weeks, so I decided to post pics of the car today. First, let me say they ride sweet…ride quality is stock at least, maybe even better (been so long since I rode in a stock TL hehe). There is no popping or any other noises that come for the air ride, like most other systems have. The compressors do get a little annoying, but it is VERY bearable, and this is said with no radio. Much thanks to Hornda (Steve) and Mike (1999TL), they answered any questions I had, and were real cool about it. Still have yet to get my system put back in, and under the hood cleaned up, but should be this week as I plan on dropping the car back to Streeteffectz tomorrow, so I hope to have pics of the completed trunk by the end of the week. I am going to pull the rims off this weekend probably, and will post them for sale shortly thereafter. You guys can find a few more pics in my gallery at AI. Tell me what you guys think .

shimbo--yeah i got that done in the beginning of summer lol, its all ready to go for the most part..

mikey...the tanks are 3 gallons each, and the compressors are 2 viair 450Cs...the whole install rang in right around $6K with the trunk being done... I also bought the Air Ride Technologies Big Red Valves, which are supposed to be like the best valves you can buy for Air Ride..they are bulletproof..those were liek $700 alone...so it went way over budget, I expected it to top out at $4500. It takes about 5 minutes to fill up to full pressure, and the car can be lifted from the ground to the floor very quickly.

fixedtl---i am sure you can buy just the front two cylinders..

brian--yeah, the front is molded on. I had to get it repaired/repainted/redone about 4 times so far.

max clearance is probably liek 5-6 inches (a little higher than stock) and 1.5-2 inches down low...

thanks for the comps guys..

Essarak-The ride is just like Teins, if not a little nicer. Let me know if you are in NJ, we can meet and you can check em out.

Touring TL-Thanks, I am selling them to get some new ones, probably 19s or maybe even 20s.

PimpinTLs-You can get like the canovers themselves and the pumps, and a few other things like fittings, a pressure switch, etc. You still have to buy valves, which depend on what you get. You need a new battery, battery isolator, and quite a few other parts as well. Also, included in that price, was the labor for the trunk as well.

Nice!...What are you using to adjust it? switches, digital controller? You should look into Air Rides Ride Pro e with the key fob remote, unless of course you already have it. A lot of cool features, I love the automatic ride hieght on start. Its great for when the girlfriend needs to move the car.
