looks cool, but that temperature light (either 10000k or 2500k) would be irritating for me to drive at night.

the low beam is not that bright since its running on stock relay and the fogs are halogen not too intense.

10k is up there with a strong blueish tint. Stock is 4300, its been said that the most light output is received in between 5-6k.

In any case it looks good, and if you like it then good stuff man.

I think 10k is illegal in all states, but I doubt anyone would pull you over for that. I actually saw a car with very purple low beams pass by a cop with no repercussions.

Yea the highest id go is 8k which is what i have but 10k is cool too just too much blue for me. But it actually looks nice with your fogs. Im curious as to how the actual output on the road is at nighttime with a temp that high? Cause some of my friends have 10k and their output sucks when its dark out so im just curious about yours.

well i was aiming for 6000k at first since that is the light i have on my other cars. however the place i was buying from was sold out of 6000k. he has some pretty good bulbs with warranty, so i didnt wanna go anywhere else. i didnt buy 8000k lights because i dont like the greenish hue it creates. for me its either 6000k or nothing but after seeing a pic of a tl with 10k i really liked the crystal clear look it gave to the headlights. as for light output it definately is not anywhere as bright as oem 4300k. but i really dont care since i drive in city with this car only and there is less glare with 10000k

most light output = stock = 4300k

5k is the next best thing to stock and it's pure white

6k is not bad either and it would be the highest i'd go if i wanted a bluish tint WITH some performance.

as for op.. 10k? that's too much blue for me but to each his own. have fun getting harrassed by cops.

cops dont really give much crap here in ontario, they are worried about shortage of donuts more than anything. As for 10000k as i said its not that bad with stock relay, but i can imagine the eye strain it may cause with aftermarket ones. I have 6000k after markets on my beamer and that shit is blindingly bright, if anything i should be worried about those, not to mention how many times people have high beamed me at night.

well i replaced the 10,000k lows with stock osram 4300k instead... swapped the nokya fogs with 6000k hid. swapped stock high beam halogens with osram ultrastars. ill post night pics later tomo but the fogs look very nice, wide beam pattern with no glare. a quick question, is it possible to aim fog lights easily at home? mine are pointed all the way down. also has anyone tried 6000k lows? is there much difference in light output? i do not want to lose brightness, and if i switch is it ok to get D2C bulbs instead since they are brighter?

obviously the 6k are going to be a little less bright than factory 4300k but I've found that if you get the "white" 6k instead of the "blue" 6k you get the color your want and you get an above average light output.

I've been using it now for a year and I like where it's at

its super easy to adjust your fogs at home. just go under the front of the car and look up and youll see the adjuster on the back side of it

i recently replaced mine with d2c 5000k bulbs and no glare problems at all. i am very happy with the light output and it has very little blue hue to it. i will post some pics when i get time.

i run 10k low and 3k fogs. i had my 10k for almost 2years. and never had problems with cops. i must admit light output sucks in the rain but to each is own.

i really like oem lights they are nice and bright. when i replaced it with 10,000k from above light output was 0. i couldnt see the light on the road...so i went back to oem. however i really like pure white light, just like ones on german vehicles. i was thinking of upgrading to 6000k bulbs, cant decide....im scared it will have less output. as for fogs i just need to aim them up

I like 6k. I think it's about perfect. My fogs and lows are 6k and I am completely satisfied. I'll probably go back to 3k fogs when it starts getting later in the season, I might go laminx coated to get the yellow look from the front in the future...

Yeah I agree 6k is perfect. It will be a tad less bright that stock but not by much. Also, your headlights are aimed wrong I noticed from the garage door pic. The left beam should be hitting the door about 2 inches lower than the right beam. Also, they both seem way too high unless your driveway has a sharp grade to it. The left light always dips just a little bit lower than the right to avoid blinding oncoming motorists. A lot of people adjust them thinking that one is off however that is not the case. They are not supposed to be even with each other.

100% agreed. 6k is the highest you can go and still have useable light. Plus, anything above that just looks cheap... like those colored bulbs you get for $20. I personally would love something at 5500k but have never seen them in that kelvin.

i had 6000k before but you can't see anything during rainy night. in my opinion 5000k is the best choice as it doesn't look too blue or too oem as it has very little blue hue to it....

dude i wouldnt do 10000K for the main driving lights....you can do em for the fog lights....

i would do a tops of 6000K for the driving lights...even 6000K has a pretty blue output which will do a good contrast with your 2500K fog lights...
