I'm curious about light output as well. If it's better with a nice led tower bulb I'll snag some off ebay for cheap

your LED for sure is whiter than stock, but in terms of brightness, they r the same right? (from the comparison pic, ur stock looked like a amber signaling light - quite yellow....)

my LEDs are way brighter than halogens at the base. but in terms of illumination, they are pretty good in the night time, not too sure how effective they are in the daytime.

Nice mod! I think illumination would be better with the LED reverse lights if the whole tailight was tinted. I'd do this mod but I'd also want others to see my reverse lights when backing up. Just in case, ya know?

That is so legit. I might just do that to my tails now. hmmmm

The LEDs look sick. With mine you can see them during the day but not that well but at night when I park in my driveway it lights up the while thing. I have a 24 LED bulb.

i did that a while back with a 9 or 10 LED bulb, but the fast blinking got on my nerves and i didnt wanna hassle with resistors and flashers so i just took it out.. it looked nice though!

Yea it looks very nice, the fast blinking does happen when I put the turn signal on......what do i need to do to fix that? When the hazards are on they blink normally, but turn signals are fast. Tell me please if you know how to fix that!

volly,
nice mod, it gives a clean look. i was thinking about getting led's for my turn signals and back up lights.

if you remember a while back i was complaining about my turn signals not being bright enough cus i blacked them out, and that i was going to paint the turn signal housings NGM body color. remember?

well, i just got my headlights back from the shop, which had to redo them 2 times cus they screwed them up, and they look nice now and i cant wait to installed them. i think they will be bright enough with the stock bulb in it now. i think its going to look pretty sick with body color matching turn signal housings.

NGM paint is pretty reflective, but im not sure if its reflective enough for led's? what do you think?

yup i remember.
snap some pics when u have installed those headlights!
I would buy the highest wattage and the bulb with the most LEDs for my turn signals.
