Hey guys I just joined the forum, check out my TL









LOL, jk. From anyone that remembers me, my TL used to look like what you see below. What you see above is what happens when you sell the car to your sister and her significant other "decks it out." I sold it to them in its stock form. He added those god awful looking wheels on stock suspension, and ADDED a pin stripe (why??).

Im not diggin the Bimmer, sorry...But the set up on your tl was PERFECTION.

 

Look wise, the TL still has it but thats only fully modded. Stock for stock the BMW looks way nicer and performs better from the factory (imo). I only have mild mods on it now, next summer come the big purchases; some nice 19" wheels and a drop. But I def miss the TL, it hurts to see it in this condition. Thankfully she is selling it to get an H3.

I don't get it man, if you have to see your old car again wouldn't you want to see it in nice shape? I would've sold it to them for a little bit more with the drop and wheels and parted everything else. Sure it wouldn't have been perfect anymore but at least it would have two of the biggest visual enhancements our cars need (drop, rims, kit).

Oh and who the fuck actually adds a pinstripe to their car!? Seriously... what a tool.
All I ever hear is guys complaining about wanting to take their stupid stripes off.

Yeah he saw it, but he is one of those autozone/buy cheap shit on ebay type of modders. I guess what ever works for him. They actually just sold the car yesterday and picked up an H3. So far it sounds like he is on the right track with the H3, keeping it stock lol.

My sister didn't want any of the mods that were on it, other than the lip kit. But I needed to sell all that so I had some cash for new toys. When he added the pin stripe I had no words, and it gets even better.. he added Acura stickers on the mirrors also. I told him that he did everything wrong and after I reminded him what the car looked like he agreed.

 

I am just an anti BMW guy...I've seen first hand the experiences that a buddy of mine had with his and from there I will no longer support/recommend BMW...
I will however say, they are beautiful cars, and they perform like any high end car should but I just don't think they are built solidly, nor are repair/parts prices anywhere near reasonable.
But its definitely a clean car, and I'd like to see how it comes along in the coming months.
