just annoying putting it back on, my headlights are bright enough for straight in front but the fogs help for the sides, and lighting up signs sooner then head lights.

not really that difficult jus time consuming, and got to hav a good dremmel, i had a cheap one from chicago tools or something it was $10 and would have taken me hours to cut off one pocket.
just follow this diy if you want civic fogs, https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/diy-01-03-civic-fogs-99-01-tl-624705/
on the second page Gemini Scottay helped with the wiring and it was a big help, as for the cutting i just used a hammer, didn't hav any kind of safty glases and didn't want to take the time to cut lol. mine were $38 shipped, but you have to get either a 02-03 switch or get a universal to put in the blank swith spot, cause the one that came with mine was ugly and was too skinny to fit in the hole and the button was to tall for it.

Did you use a headlight restoration kit that included UV protection?

If not...I hope you plan on getting some.

Umm...not sure if you can get some there but they do sell Headlight Restore Kits that include UV protectant.

It's like a little clear coat protectant.

Because when you sanded your lenses you also took off the remaining coat which obviously failed.

Which is why you had to sand them in the first place.

Without replacing that...it's only a matter of time before they will fog up again.

You might be able to find some isolated from a kit but not sure.

Usually they sell it by the bottle but you only need like 3-4 ounces.

Yup, JDM ones that are rectangular, but you'd have to custom fab the fogs itself or just get the whole bumper. And I had the value front bumper on my car till it got jacked in LBC, Long Beach City, and they stripped my car of everything on the outside.
