I got some. The dealership I got it from didn't have any in it. Or a owners manual, or a remote unlock..lol!! Other than that she's good to go though. Got me a remote off ebay and some mats for it. Now all I need is an owners manual and I'll be set...haha!!
Great site you all have here. I have already gotten LOTS of info. Took off the intake resonator and put K&N drop in filter in it. That will be it as far as the go fast mods.

Nice truck. My neighbor has one in black. Sounds great, looks great and performs really nicely. Anthracite TL-S is what I originally wanted. That one is in really nice shape, and the TL-S is no slouch either so you can still have some fun while not having to take out a loan on gas. haha

Yeah, stock it won't beat an SRT-8 jeep, but mine is FAR from stock..lol!! The jeeps come with 30 more horsepower stock. All the SS needs is a good tune and it will stay right with the jeep. I have raced a few of the jeeps and beat them pretty good, but in my opinion the jeeps look a hella lot better than the SS. I wanted a 2wd though and the jeeps are all 4wd. Plus they are like 15K more.

Okay, look, no beef here, but at the same time....dude, come on. A Chevy of all things.... Why? If you wanted something fast, then why not just get a G37s or something? The gas mileage would be hella better and quite obviously looks better. Just my .
I do have to admit though, it's nice. Props to you man...

You gotta be kidding me...No beef taken but the SS will walk a G37. Last time I looked none of the G37's were putting down 400 lb/ft of torque or running 12 second quarter miles. The infinites' are nice. But I like some torque when I mash the peddle.
And the truck and the Acura are paid for so the gas price isn't that big of a deal when I can drive the Acura everyday. And on the nice days or nights we go to the track I bring out the SS.

But the torque that those LS2's put out is flat out NASTY!! I see you have a Buick GN. Those cars were and are BAD to the bone. My buddy had one and that thing would FLY!!

The GN is fun. I installed a Powerlogger in a friend's GN today. We took it out for tuning with 24psi boost. From a stop sign we launched, brought it to 100mph and shut it down. As we're getting ready to turn around to go home, I hear this aweful noise. I'm looking around and finally see a riced out Civic coming up hard. As we flip a U this guy flies by and turns his flashers on. If it were me driving I would've chased him down but my friend just blew it off. Sorry, I had to get that off my chest. Still a little pissed about that guy.

To leave on a sour note, I hope you have better luck with your PI convertor than I did. It's a Vigillante, right?

Yeah it's a Vigilante... what kind of problems did you run into??? And it only runs in the 12's on cold nights..lol!!
The only problems I have seen with it is the loss in my fuel mileage around town. Went from about 14 to 11 mpg. Once it locks on the hwy I see around 19mpg. But thats why I got the Acura.

I learned fairly recently that the non-lockup convertors are much more efficient at the higher hp levels. I've always thought the only difference was clutch or no clutch but that wasn't so. Never wanted to lose my lock up but now that it's just a toy it doesn't matter. And the Acura helps me too lol.
