Minor Update

Thought I'd post some pics of my painted engine cover. I had been thinking about doing this since summer and finally got around to it last month.

i gotta ask this, i dont understand... why do people paint their engine covers something totally different from their car's exterior/original paint?

i mean it looks good, and looks like a good job, and matches the intake well, but blue inside the engine bay of a silver car?

props for the work and if you like it, but i just dont get it...?

ive always wondered the same thing, makes the engine bay look cheap! just a nice clean engine bay, no paint ftw!

I kno most people will do both the engine cover and the spark plug cover because it will look more complete, but I just felt like leaving that how it is.

Yuh I do think that painting the engine cover with the same paint as the exterior would look clean... but I just didn't feel that on a SSM. I decided to go blue to match my intake.

Thnx for comments and suggestions everyone.

Looks great! That's one of my next mods whenever I get around to it. Also I like the grill-tech grill and the yellow fogs.

i kicked myself in the ass the day after i got my oem sideskirts back from the shop, like why didnt i give em my engine cover plastics as well.... but they're ok in black. to each his own and im stoked you like em, but to me blue inside a silver engine bay just never made sense. but once again the work is nice, and it does look good... just not my style

props again !
