Did you fix that rear lip yet?

 

^^, ..just wanted to reach my 4k post mark quickly, so I've been whoring it up! And negative on the fixing of the rear lip.. still gotta save up another $200 or so for paint.. but I do have both the rear bumper+lip waiting to be painted.

Yeah matte black headlights don't look black enough in some lighting and my corner bulb looks like just a dot cuz the black just absorbs the light x_x

..thx everyone for the compliments! I took it out for the first time in over 2weeks and I got countless stares while I drove by people. One, they were probably thinking "..look at this moron driving so low with so much snow!" ..and two, "..wow, those lights look tight!"

Thx! ..fixing my rear bumper + lip is the next thing on my to-do list ..then hopefully a new suspension setup + full catback system.

yeah, i tried to make plans for the last 2 saturday's, but things keep popping up, so its my fault i can never make it...last weekend i ended up working on my bike and totally forgot about my car.

hopefully soon i will be able to make time to do them. i love the glossy black look, but its hard for me to picture on a SSM TL.

 

WOW. I didn't realize what a difference the gloss black housings made. Looks amazing!

 

^ I know. Mine are gloss black. But now it makes me want to take out the amber.

 

are those amber or red bulbs? if red, where did u get them? Ive been looking for some for quite some time.

the only difference between a normal black out is that you used gloss black paint?

i used the duplicolor black.. and then bunch of clear coat..

with only the black it was kinda of flat/matte ish.. then jus finished it with like.. 3-4 layer of clear coat..

can said for gloss finish or something...

 

so did u just buy a whole new set of oem's or ebay ones to redo them? and u tried to get the gloss effect again? 0_o

i wanna redo mine to gloss but my headlights aren't clean

 

uhh...

i found these on ebay for like.. $60 for right(OEM) and $45(DEPO) for left and opened them up.. and started working.. after that.. i took off my OEM ones.. and replaced it with the new blacked out ones that ill*tl has.. then i did the ones i took off.... sold them too... somebody in canada..

then ill*tl had another set and i took em.. and those are what i have now and sent ill*tl mine after sending me his "loot"
