M5 Lip Spoiler - Shitty Paint Job

I bought this M5 lip spoiler on Ebay for about 60$(CDN), got it painted at this local body shop for 60$(CND) and this is how it looks.

Shitty if you ask me - the paint is shit it makes the car look ghetto. From the rear view it looks pretty slick but looking from up close this is what you get. Anyways I just took it off and I'll probably get it repainted. Anyone else have paint problem with this spoiler?

Is there another way to mount this thing other than 3M double sided tape? It seems that the tape doesn't do a good job making the spoiler flush with the trunk.

Looks small if you ask me but that's only my opinion. It doesn't seem to cover the entire length of the trunk. I saw some OEM/painted @ ebay for about $160 i think.

The reflection of the trees make it impossible to evaluate the paint job.

actually, i think that's the perfect indicator for showing what kind of paint job it is. you can see the imperfections by looking at the reflections. the reflection looks bumpy and muddy..looks like the paint isn't smooth nor shiny/reflective as the oem paint.

it looks like they painted it without molding it first... I would have used a heat gun and shaped it out first then painted and applied to the trunk... My two cents

i'm going to agree with fpique, they should've molded the spoiler to ur trunk first before painting it. mine came out pretty good compared to yours

Actually I just brought the spoiler to the shop. Now i'm sure what exactly are the procedures to paint this but I don't think it should be any different than painting a bumper. After three days I saw the spoiler and told them to repaint it because they didn't even clear coat it and the bubbles were still there. Four days later I came and this is what I get. I'm thinking of just getting them to strip the paint so I can take it to another shop.

I ordered for an M5 lip - is there a difference? Either way the one that I got doesn't seem big enough. I've seen alot of TL on this board with the same lip spoiler though.
