looks better but when u put the plate like that does it affect the airflow to the radiator to cool down the engine?

Taking it off is the way to go. It doesn't look good at all on the front of the car. One time when I got pulled over the cop mentioned it but didn't do anything about it. My dad said the same thing has happened to him when he drove the car

I took mine off and keep the frame and plate on the back floor. Haven't gotten stopped yet. If I do, I tell them I need to get new bolts to put it on. I did this in my Vette for years with no problems.

What if someone robs your house and gets away because the cops couldn't see the front plate? (i know there's million rebutals to this, but i'm just saying there is a reason the law exists)

when tha f*** would the front plate matter in that situation??? sorry gibson, i understand you're just trying to show me the other point of view, but people who are runnin from the cops in an actual carchase do not try to get away in reverse.

I have no choice to put the license plate on, especially in CA! I don't want to risk get pullover by a cop, then get ticket for: no license plate (probably a fix), illegal tint, and loud exhaust (probably a fix also)!

No license plate and loud exhaust can be fix/ or win in court (I did it before on my Accord), tint ticket could also win in court, but if a cop is a d*** then he might make me tear the tint off at that moment. I try to balance between mod and avoid the ticket at the same time

AcuraT203: I also thinking the same when I did this, but IMO, there are still plenty of open space around and on the back that the radiator can still cool the engine without any negative effect. Plus, part of the radiator is behind the front bumper anyway. I also see many car with tiny front open for the radator, so I think it's ok.

Do you think that silver metallic color looks better than glossy black?
