Life of the TL

I was lookin through all my pictures, and found the evolution of the TL rather interesting.

The day we bought it:

A few months later after the repair:

First thing I bought, exhaust

Some tail lights

Then I found a kit on ebay which I jumped on, front+sides

Was time for a drop and some power. Headers and CAI

Found a great deal for brand new CL-S wheels

Got a M3 lip spoiler and WW rear Lip. Painted the engine covers also.

The ladies approved

Couldn't deal with the warped piece of shit OEM rotors, got these suckers

Installed the crank pulley while I was at it

It sat like this for awhile

And now, its sitting in its final stage

Very nice. A lot of time, money, and effort went into that car. If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for it when you found it like that?

Love the new rims. It's amazing what a kit, tailights, M3 lip can do.

Did you do all the paint and bodywork yourself? The car looks amazing.

Thanks for all the comments guys

I think I picked up the car back in 2002 for $7500 or $8500 (can't remember) in that condition. We used a friends garage to fix it up so we saved a good amount of money doin the work ourselves. It only had 950 miles when we got it. Apparently the story behind the car is a family bought it, and their youngest son sneaked it out the house and flipped it or something along those lines.

mikey3.2- I used fishing line, a blow dryer, goo gone, and then waxed the area.

DUECE_DXJ- Yess sir, fell in love with them as the days went by. Ever since I got them on my car its gotten alot of attention on the streets. A cop pulled me over for no front tag and asked me, "What kind of car is this son?" Got a warning hah.

Once again, thanks alot guys. There are a few more things I wanna do to it, then its complete.
