Just a Few New Pics
I didn't get to wash my car. I took it to the Acura Care Clinic at my usual dealership and I forgot that they wash it everytime you have a service done. So the first pic is before the clinic and everything else is from Yesterday. I'll do a good polish on it if the weather holds.

What did you use for the yellow film on the fog lights? I have the yellow Lamin-X sitting here, but when I test fitted it to my fogs, it made my HID fogs look like halogens.

I'll be getting these bulbs to make it more yellow (like those on the current Lexus GS).
Could someone remind me what the stock fog bulbs are? 9006 right?

I cant seem to find my pictures of two layers where it is darker but I will slap them on again and take some pics tomorrow. So all of these are single layer of this yellow film I used.
This is 1 layer on the RSX during the day.
Doesnt look yellow huh? It is definitely more yellow than shown in this picture even with 1 layer.
This is closer to what it looks like with the single layer.
A shot of how it lights up on the ground. Probably would of been better on a lighter surface.
Another shot, close to what it is in person.
This one is a little fuzzy.
Close up.
From the side.
Again from the other side... a little deeper than the previous pics.
And another...

Also those were the 6000Ks that were behind the fogs and it doesnt appear as YELLOW when compared to the 4300Ks. Once the film is there, you can definitely see there is a decrease in the range slightly, very slightly or maybe it is because I can differentiate between the lows and and fogs now.
I'll get some more pics of using two layers, it is definitely a deeper yellow when a second layer of film is applied.
MODS: If you could delete my first post of the pictures that would be great. I didnt get to finish my comments in time so I wasnt able to edit the first one. The second one I added comments to each picture. Thanks!

That's pretty bright. I was thinking that I should get some HIDs for the fogs, but not anymore. I really want a golden yellow for the fog and getting HIDs would totally slim down the chance.
Something like this but without the use of HIDs would be great

BTW, I touched the fog lights the other day while it's on, and those suckers are hot. I'm surprised that the heat from the light hasn't already melted it or the lexan.

AsianRage, here are some more pics!
2 Layers of the yellow film with the HID 4300k fogs on. I will try a 55W regular halogen bulb after lunch. Couldnt take any pictures outside yet or at least at night really. Hard to see the outcome during the day. You can see the contrast during the day. Walking up to the car when it is yellow is kinda to me and sometimes ....
What do you think??

You didn't have to take off the entire bumper....
Where did you go to get your yellow film? I like the yellow film I have on right now. Wouldn't mind it being a bit more deeper in tone though.

lol I had to get behind the bumper anyway. I got the film at a local hobby store, I got a 2ft by 2t peice for $1.50. They have it at those art stores as well...

They called it acetate. Do you know what they use for those Dj spot lights in clubs or parties? I am not sure if it is a film that can be used or if it is something else.

Oh, I believe those color sheets used in the clubs aren't adhesive backed for mounting. I think photographers also used the same type for their lighting equipments.

Nice, it is really hard to capture the real color with the camera isnt it. Using the two layers it looks a little darker than most of my pictures. I didnt use anything to stick it on mainly because I wasnt sure if it would be permanent yet. I probably wouldnt make it permanent either since the metal clamps on the fog light housing does a good job in holding it down. I used those lexan cutouts and made the yellow film cutouts and just trimmed a little smaller so it would fit nicer.

When i was changing out the broken glass and swapping in the lexan, the metal trimming did really do a good job of holding it down.
I'm gonna get the yellow 9006 and see if it's really yellow-er @ night

u mean the yellow halogens behind the yellow film? I tried like 5 brands of yellow bulbs... never tried the PIAA ones for $80 or so. The best yellow was the Eurodesignz on ebay and I still think I have a set. They dont seem to last too long lol but they are good. Nice deep yellow on the ground but when looking straight at it... the Max Golds from Midnight Moose did the best which faded more and more as time went by 6 months for the Max Golds and I think the Eurodesignz for the most part were 4 months if not turned on and off a lot where it ended up being 2 weeks or less hahaha It is fine to turn then off, just dont start flashing them a lot like lots of on/offs in short periods of time. Seemed to kill it much faster.
