Just bought my TL-s
I just bought a TL typs S after reading this forum it made me sure it was the car for me... Thank you to everyone here.... The car is going tobe here Weds and tint and springs are going to be on friday.. I cant wait.... here are a couple pics of the car
It has 34,000 miles and the end price was 18,250.00 not including tax etc... I think it was a good deal...

Good at least someone else thinks it looks droped. Since i have not seen the car in person I was assuming it was due to the angle of the pics or maybe the body kit fooling me.. I cant wait until it gets here I am in the process of pulling out my system of my old car so I can start the install next weekend...

BTW pin stip goes the min it gets here..... Thank you guys for the input making me feel even better about my decision... The the description of the car also said " Special effect Head lights" now since this dealer had 5 other TL's I assume they are not talking about HID's and maybe that they have been changed.. I know stokers are like 4200 or 4300 how would I be able to tell if they have the stock bulbs or something else... Also any way to tell for sure if it still has the stock springs? Color, Markings anything?????

Damn that just makes me wish my gf got a TL-S instead of a TL-P. The rims, bumpers, and headlights all look so much better imo. Do you know if the car has already had its tranny replaced?

I'm considering buying one just like that, except it's got 53k miles and no spoiler. They want 20,995 for it. They're giving me 14,500 for my 2002 Accord EX with 61k miles though.
Should I do it? I think you got a killer deal.
Edit: One more thing. The one I'm considering has the skirts, but they dont match the paint really well. From what I can see your match is pretty close.

The Trade in amount sounds good but the price sounds a little high what area do you live in? I bought my car from www.budgetcarsalesdallas.com they get alot of tl's in from auction and because they have a piolet program at that location and one in california they are selling them at under a thousand over. I am very happy with the deal I got after looking everywhere in my area it beat the best deal I could get by 1600.00 plus is the color I wanted.

I honestly dont know first hand I purchased the car from a dealership in Dallas I live in Ft Lauderdale Fl. I had an independant company do an inspection of the car and that was one of the things I asked them to look at the could find no mismatch of color.. The car is supposed to be here on Wed or thurs I cant wait to get it I feel like a kid waiting for X-mas.

Definitely dropped, slight discrepancy in the colors on the body kit (especially the front piece), but WDP is a hard color to match. Even a new car with an OEM kit will not match perfectly sometimes on WDP.

Yeah I hope the color is a good match the dealership had the original window sticker for the car and the sticker with the dealer add on items and it had the body kit spoiler and full wood kit and stearing wheel from the time it was purchased so I think that will help the paint match a little more at least they will have even wear

The body kits often do not match exactly. I bought my 04 TL with the body kit on brand new and the Satin Silver color is off. WDP is even harder to match.

that kit almost looks like the 99-01's taffeta white paint.. i have both 03 WDP TL and 99 Taffeta TL.. i like the richness and pearly look on the WDP but i like the solid and pure look on the Taffeta. but taffeta is alot easier color to find in aftermarket products and stuff. also for touchup paint or any amount of paint could be found at any honda dealer (the new Accord comes in the same Taffeta White)!!

The car was delivered this morning..I went 
Its in better condition then I thought and YES this fucker is slammed it took us almost and hour just to get it off the truck there is about 1 finger gap between the fender and wheel.. tint goes on tomarrow and I am going to start the system this weekend.. Does anyone know where I can get a blank panel of the wood trim that is used in our car? I am going to build a double din dash kit out of a metra and want to face it with the black wood trim any idea's where I can get it?

as for the dash kit, check out www.streeteffectz.com or send a PM (private message) to username streeteffectz. he can make a double din setup for you along with matching wood for about $100.

actually, there are 2 coming up.

yeah i got mine tinted last weekend. 5% all around and 35% full windshield... I love it. The same thing I had on my last car but looks even better on a white car. I have started the fiberglass molds for my system and bought my power cable... Time for the work and fun to start....

the legal limit is 35% here... lol... your off by just a bit. where did you get your windows tinted and for how much? i want to get mind re-done in like 10% or 15%.

The place I have been going for all my cars is called Allied tint they are in Hollywood florida off 441 and Johnson. Because I have done all my cars there the give me a pretty good deal it was 170.00 including the windshield with Lumar tint.

Almost drove that car
I don't know if you have the car yet. But Budget Car Sales Dallas is the one who was selling it. I drove 3 of their TL's while that one was sitting on the lot. All of their cars were exceptionally clean.. Good luck. I never did look at your TL while I was there... I'm weary of buying something someone else has mucked with.

Yeah i got the TL a couple of weeks about and LOVE it its almost hard to beleave that its used.. Its in better condition then 2 new cars i have bought in the past..
