Okay,
here's the first round of answer for the posts I got to this thread so far....

Yeah the HKS exhaust does look tucked, that's the way they come, but its okay because people have to look to see what I have, and usually all you see is the HKS insignia on the tips, which is cool. No, they haven't burned anything yet, and they also stay surprisingly cool, which is a plus, thats how you can tell how efficient an exhaust is, by how cool the actual exhaust stays after running the car hard.

I'm dropped with the Eibach SportLine kit, its a 1.7 rear 2.1 Front drop I think, and I had to put spring spacers in the rear (4 of them) to prevent it from rubbing all the time. Now it only rubs on hard bumps, and the ride is pretty comfortable, unless you're taking the road at over 75mph.

I got these guages off of someone on this site, and yes my car is a TL-S, but they didn't specify wether it would work or not, but I tried it, and it did..so what the heck. As far as getting more..I only wish I knew where, I could make a bunch of money. BTW..my car is a '02

The kit for the brakes was a simple install, contrary to what AEM said. I dropped it off at my local action-gator tire, so they could do it on the lift, and he had me in and out in about 1 hour tops. The rear come in this week, so I should get that done, with any luck on the weekend, so I can't say what kind of work is involved there. But, as a hook-up I paid $50 install, and the only modification they did was to bend the back plate that protects the factory disk-brakes about 26 degrees back, to avoid hitting the new 13.5" rotors. The kit is used was from a '98-'00 Honda Accord V6. BTW...I can get these at a discount, if anyone is interested.... drop me a line.
Everyone Else...
Thanks so much for your support and great comments...I'm really happy with the car, and all I can see is better things for the future.

Are those really 20's? What size and offset? I just ordered mine yesterday custom made 20X8 47ot not sure what tires to run yet? The smallest I have found is 245/35/20. Where does it actually rub? on bumps or turns? or both? with people in the back? Please fill me in on all of your details. Thanks.

Hello Everyone,
okay here is my second round of replies to all your comments and questions, thanks for everyone thats taken time to post.

Here's an update on the rear brakes, we just tried putting them on, and realized that the TL-S has a special brake setup incorporating both disks and drums. Although this is odd, and the first time we as a shop have ever encountered it, it is actually going to hold back our big brake instalation in the rear for a week or so. We have eliminated the rear shoes which only work to be used with the Parking brake (I never use it)... and we have to manufacture a bracket extention for the relocation kit that comes with the AEM kit. I will try to take pics of the install, and post them for everyone as well... Look for them in the following week or so.

My wheels are currently a +45 offset, however I will probably move to something with a +47/+48 offset due to the caliper clearance with the new brake upgrade. Its kind of a rock and hard place with these brakes when it comes to using them with wheels, but the added braking power is well worth it..belive me. As far as rubbing, yes they do rub when I put people in the back, but I just ordered the one-piece Apexi Coilovers, and hopefully that will stop the rubbing by making it a bit stiffer. The hard bumps are the main problem when considering putting 20's on our cars and lowering them. Although this is only my opinon, and only is representitive of the '02 TL-S because that's all I've done so far. My friend has a '00 with 20's as well with a +45 offset, and he hasn't mentioned any problems being dropped with Eibach's, but he had to roll his fenders, which I am not too confident to do with a car that only has 5k miles on. But goodluck with your wheels, and it would be nice to see pics when you get them....luck.

Well all I can say to your statement is that I have no reason to lie, and if you don't believe me, you can call HP Racing and ask for the Marketing director Frank at 1-800-522-7855. He and I just finished talking about using my car as a demo for one of the upcomming shows, and maybe even putting a picture on their '03 catalog. In all honesty though....if you haven't done it and don't know, you shouldn't dismiss it....

Like I said the front brakes fit with little to no modification, but the rear is a different story...

Hey Blazin,
yeah I think I know Marcus, I know a lot of people in Orlando, cause of the shop. But yeah if you need help on the dubs let me know, and maybe I can hook it up... the style that i have on my car are running 2,500 with kuhmo tires at my store right now and that includes mount and ballance and lugs. My wheels are HP Racing TK9 in Chrome 20*8.5 by the way, so if you are interested and want some, let me know. I have a few others I can get that cheap as well, and some that maybe I can get even cheaper. But, yeah, stop by the shop, or give me a buzz...maybe we can meet up at Sonic's or something some time.
