I drive a tl but check this

my tl was makin a funky clicking in reverse that sketched me out so bad i decided to take it in cuz it was close to 100k and i got a loaner RDX. when i first saw comercials and pictures of these I hated the look and the whole idea but driving it totally changed that the turbo acceleration with the awesome paddle tiptronic is super fun to drive I love this suv but not as much as my TL check these pictures i took while i had it

I like the look of the RDX quite a lot. It is very expensive though. I'm surprised they were giving them out as loaners. My dealership always gives me a TSX
My wife and I decided it was too small inside for our needs and we ended up with a Pathfinder instead.

i took my TL in as well about a week and a half ago...they also gave me an RDX with Nav to drive...before when i had only seen the commercials i didn't think it'd be that cool of a car compared to the MDX, but it's actually pretty damn nice....too expensive for a 4 cylinder, even though it has paddle shifters, nav, and rear back-up cam...was a really nice car to drive, but would rather have an MDX and love my TL the most...

Talking

my friend had this car when he took his car in for a tranny replacement... we ended up taking a roadtrip to Pennsylvania with it to visit a friend of mine at school and it was DEFINITELY fun to drive... I can't even remember the last time I drove something that high up... I'll say it's definitely a fun change from ridin low in my TL... seeing over traffic and not being bothered at all by other SUVs blocking my line of sight was a big change... hahaha... it's real nice and it's quick for a 4 banger that big... You gotta love the pressure gauge for the turbocharger, the SH-AWD on tight turns and the paddle shifters are fun, too, especially after I noticed you can use them even if you haven't put the gearbox in SS mode yet

I also think the interior's a lot nicer in the RDX than in the new TLs

Some dealerships probably give out RDX's and new TL's to some people to increase the chance of you buying it in the future. Its kind of like a teaser.

Looks great though, i'd rock one.

I sat in the RDX and to me it wasn't impressive. It's too small and weak looking for a SUV. It would be a good girls car, though.

ya, my dad's got one. the rdx is a very fun car to drive. i have h&rs on my tl and the rdx's sh-awd destroys my cars handling. even the body roll is MUCH less on the rdx. i love the turbo, but the lag is a huge downfall. up until about 18-22 mph, there is almost no accel. but when the boost kicks in, it really does push back into the seat.

the interior was tastefully done, except the interior door panels scuff very easily. other than that, the navi is very intuitive and despite what the C&D and R&T reviews say, the acura navi is very intelligent and easy to use. the led lighting is a very nice touch.

my only complaint with the RDX- why would they put a normal F***ing rear view mirror in a $50,000 suv? that seriously pissed me off when i got in it the first time. i love my auto-dim.

I haven't looked in to the RDX that much. It sounds like it's awesome. Is it in a totally different league compared to the Mazda CX-7 or whatever it is?

Well the RDX is only around 38k with tech package. But I agree with you either way. It is bull shit, but I think their reasoning is because its higher off the ground normals cars will not blind you, just SUV's. And another thing super stupid about the RDX is the no memory seats and manual passenger seat. But I think Acura will get rid of that for '08, they will put in mem seats and a power passenger seat. Another funny thing is that the MDX doesn't even have an auto dimming mirror, its an accessory as it is for the RDX.
