hi everyone , i will show you how easy it is to change your oil in your acura tl !

First you remove the oil stick and clean it , then put it back in and see if there is oil in between the two little circles , as you can see its almost at the 2nd circle so its time for an oil change 0-full-----half-----empty-0



get your supplies


you should use synthetic oil


now its time to work


under the car u will see this bolt , undo it and the old oil will fall


then you must catch the oil before the oil catches you !


this is my nieghboor marco , you might remember him from such classic threads like ''My 99 NBP's New ex.Tips ! =)''
for some reason he wanted to put the oil in these glass bottles....?


now u have to change the oil filter , but watch out , when u remove it oil will fall


make sure u put some new oil on the new oil filter so that it wont crack



then u put you new oil , now why would u pay someone to do that !!?

Good post. That's something that I never done was change my own oil. I'm gonna give it a shot.

 

i'm not really sure what to say... originally i was gonna say great write-up, but after seeing the latter part of the thread... you guys must be bored out there. and please recycle the oil next time.

 

btw, did you guys have beef with the tag crew/gang or hes just throw glass bottles for fun

 

Did you only use 4 quarts of oil?? If so add 1 more

 

all 4.5-4.8 qts fit in the bottles? whered the rest go

 

i'm sure that's how most people without lifts change their oil

The stealership does mine, and the only reason why is that I get free oil changes for life.

 

+1 don't just throw the oil like that, not good at all and against the law here, though i'm not sure about the laws up there
