High and Low...
Opened my garage today and decided I should take a photo of the difference in height between my two rides. The X5 has the adjustable suspension which can get it to about 11 inches! and the TL is lowered on HR race and Koni Yellows
I know they're dirty, but it's getting to that time when winter sucks the fun out of everything (unless you snow race) so I hate washing it only to see it dirty two days later...

yes the run flats are balding, so? they still cost a shit ton to replace, and there isn't a spare because mine has the rear seat option.
I never said it goes to 11", it goes almost. it's already about 8.5" off the ground. and it can raise or lower itself 2".
why would I posts photos of my parents rides? that's just dumb. and FYI because you are soooooo concerned about my life, I have one garage spot at my apartment, so I leave a car at my parents. Because I dd the X5, I usually leave my tl at my rents but on the weekends I come home and swap. I came home for thanksgiving. put the x in the garage and was going to take out the TL and decided to take some photos. I thought this forum was about owners enjoying their cars. so stop hating.

just my two rides. I thought that was the point of a photograph gallery
My car is about as slammed as it would go without coils and a kit, 2in is a pretty big drop imo

In the first post you said you were showing the "night and day" difference in height. I wasn't talking a big game, but saying what I saw, or in this case didn't see. Sorry if you were offended, but it was not my intention, just my observation.

^if I could find someone that would pay a fair price i'd sell it, it only has 7k miles! 
I got a lip kit (ww front, oem sides and rear) but it was pieced together so its all different colors. gotta get that painted and then install it.
maybe once winter is in full swing I'll check the BM for a new set of rims.
I just bought a rota shift knob off the BM and i'm loving that for sure

when I graduated and got my job I bought the X5, a few months later my sister (who was driving the tl) bought herself a c300 sport and considering how the merc dealer was offering $2g trade in I told her to just give it to me. So i didn't plan on having two cars, but it was inadvertently handed down to me and since it was my favorite car that was in our family I wasn't complaining

but yeah, you pay your own insurance? because that can't be cheap...especially if you have had any tickets. and paying off your X5 can't be cheap either unless you have like a 10 year finance or put a big down payment on that pretty little thing O.O

^yeah I pay insurance, 1200 for the year for just the X5 (the tl has my parents insurance until april of 11)
and yeah I put my entire signing bonus (7k) and an extra 3000 as the down
it was almost 3 years old when I bought it, but it only had 3xxx miles on it so it didn't depreciate much I have a pretty manageable payment at the moment (5xx$ monthly) but had I not put the down it would have easily been in excess of a grand a month
