ok, my name is Chris, and i'm here to re-introduce DuckBlue's TL-S to the Dallas area ppl and finally introduce everyone else to DuckBlue's TL-S...............

The reason for ME posting the pics is because i took the pics with my digicam...........

A minor note......... i work in a sheet metal mfg plant and designed, laser cut, and nickel plated the liscence plate cover on his car.........

i don't actually work in the plant, i'm the IT guy for the company........... "whatever"

so anywhoo, without any further ado......

uhm.... the license plate frame clearly says "DUCH BLUE"

 

nice pics, i like the lic plate cover...

 

no no no..... it DOES say DUCK BLUE, the font we picked kinda has that problem




but it is an H not a K, if you saw it in person you'd see a little indention in the middle of the K on the side............

 

ok, now i'm just stupid....... a K NOT AN H....

 

This is why professional typographers get paid the big bucks ... that "K" is indistinguishable from an "H".

 

I don't know, but it looks like "OUCH BLUE" to me...

now the question is.... hey, how much to make those custom plate?!

 

well since i work at the manufacturing plant, i got it all done free. I've never really considered doing any custom plates for anyone else, so i wouldn't know the price....

because of some of the crazy negative posts, we're thinkin of redoing the plate, which again would cost nothing..........

 

MABYE YOU COULD TAG THE NEW PLATE AS "DEECK-HEAD"??!!

i've considered makin custom ones, but they'd be expensive to sell i think....... i go back to work on wednesday, i'll check

yeah if it's not too expensive to make one, i think everyone wants a plate frame with their own "greetings"

i am really not impressed by the one dealer put on.

 

Here's a thought.... if you can get your manufacturing company to make custom metal door sills for the Acura TL, I'd bet you'd get lots of buyers, including me. Just make a little piece of flat polished metal to fit over our sills and write "ACURA" on them, maybe an Acura "A" logo on it too.

the metal has to be relatively thin though

He got his own idea and made a unique license plate frame that no one has...
I always think of ideas on my own and try to make my ride different from the original ones... good work, CasperTL!!

 

Oh yeah, one more thing I like about CasperTL's mod, IT'S FREE!!! and it's different!!!
I'd rather not spending a lot of money to make my car just like the others... I just don't feel worth it...
I gotta come up with my own license plact frame soon too....
