Thanks for all the compliments & here's another pic of the car.
lilboykorea - Yes, it is the Wings West Spoiler made for the '00-'01 model years but as you can see, it fits the '02 as well. It's not to flashy but adds a lot to the sleek lines of the car.
Crzy Acura - I'm glad I was able to share my car with you and for you to see what the spoiler looks like. I think it's a great spoiler. One tidbit of advice.....it comes with 3M adhesive tape already on the spoiler. I would suggest taking it off, then getting it painted to match your paint and then putting on new 3M tape. The reason is because once it is painted the 3M tape comes off and isn't sticky anymore and is a hassle to take off (withwout scratching the paint) to put new adhesive on. Good Luck.
Fury TL-X - Yeah, it was lowered with H&R Springs. Just enough to fill the wheel well. I didn't want it slammed or anything but I did want it a tad bit lower. The ride is amazingly nice as well.

Crzy Acura - No, of course I don't mind if you share my pic with others. I'm actually flattered. Anyway, here's a pic of the rear (sort of since it's not straight on). I don't have any side pictures yet. I still need to take some more pics when I get a chance. Oh, and I got the spoiler painted for $100 by a friend of mine. He matched it perfectly. Also, another tid bit of advice, make sure whoever paints your spoiler sands it down really good so that it's as smooth as a baby's butt. You'll thank me later for it. Let me know if you have any other questions, comments, or requests.

ok you just sold me on this spoiler!!! I love the look of it!! Ok so this is what i do.......
get the unpainted spoiler
then take off the 3m tape,
sand it down so its smooth,
then get it painted,
then put the same strip of 3m tape? or all new 3m tape?
Also, would any body shop be able to paint it for me??
Are you worried that the 3m tape will wear off??

Crzy Acura - Exactly but I would use new 3M tape (since the old one you take off will no longer work) and make sure you place the 3M tape the whole length of the spoiler to keep it from bowing when it gets hot. Any body shop should be able to color match the spoiler to your car but if you know someone that you trust, it might be better to use them. Well, hope you enjoy it as much as I do once you get it on. Let me know when you get it done.

Why do you need to replace the old adhesive?? I just left the old tape on; and the body shop guy painted over it.You arent supposed to remove it and paint the spoiler. When you install it, just peel away the plastic backing exposing the sticky part and put it on.
And also looking good Neebaum

Dude,
Sweetness! I dig the black windows with the black car effect. Does lowering your car void the warranty on the suspension? I want to do that on my TL S-Type but I'm a bit torn over whether to void the suspension warranty on such a new car...but the car does look way cooler when it's lowered an inch or two.
Does your car rider rougher as a result of the lowering?

Mr Hyde - The reason I suggested taking the adhesive off was because when I had mine painted, the plastic came off the adhesive making it not sticky anymore and I had a hell of a time taking off the old adhesive to put the new one on. If you're able to get it painted without the plastic protective liner peeling off the 3M tape, then I would definitely leave it alone but like I said, if it does come off like in my case, it'll just make it that much harder to take off and replace once it has been painted.
coffeefingers - I'm not really sure if lowering the vehicle would void any suspension warranty but I wouldn't think so. Well, I don't think so in my case since it was only a inch and a half. If I had my TL slammed to the ground, then maybe that would be a different story. As for the ride, it rides really smooth. I can't complain. It actually rides as if it were the stock springs and at times I think it rides even better than the stock springs. Hope that answers your question.
yee - Sorry you didn't get a black one. You should have known that black is the only way to go. Well, in my eyes, it's the only way to go. Anyway, I think all TL's are sweet regardless of the color. Maybe you can trade it in for a black one?????

haha...no way, I luv my car!
the reason I didn't get a black one was because my previous car (1998 Ford Explorer Limited) was a black one, and after two years of washing my car, the entire car have scratches everywhere, I'm hoping that a silver car will have better luck.
ah...I wouldn't call it an advice, but please be careful when washing your car...cuz I would feel the pain too.

maybe i missed it, in this thread, but what kind of springs are you using to lower your car? btw it looks tite.. but you've heard that enough already, so i'll shut up.

my2sense - Yes, they are the H&R Springs. They ride great and lowers the car just enough. Thanks for compliments. I always enjoy hearing them even if it's redundant. That's part of the pride of owning a TL.
