I'm a thrill seeker in my
Nice drop! I'm so jealous, cause I still have to wait a little while for spring to come. That sucks that your paint is cut behind the mudflaps. I hope the paint behind my front flaps isn't. I may be repainting some of my front end though.

thanks!
Thanks! I was pretty bummed about the paint, but oh well.. I think the body color mudflaps will look good.
Thanks! yeah, blacked out headlights is next
preciated!
Thanks!
Thanks! I love the way it rides. I think it rides better than stock on normal roads, when things get a little bumpy I can tell a slight difference.
The whole job only took me about 6 hours...thankfully I have an air compressor and a good selection of tools. The rear is a little trickier than the front (front only took me about 2 hrs..lol) but after about 45 minutes of fooling around I found if you take the rear control arm loose (in addition to the support bracket) you can slide the entire spring/shock assembly down and out towards the rear of the car.
(control arm is #15 in the pic, bolt #28) (support bracket is #10)

Im thinking about getting some lowering springs but the high school i go to has 2 speed bumps (the concrete ones) i have to go over to get to the parking lot. Are speed bumps a problem when you lower your car or is it ok?
By looking at the after pics it looks like my splash guards would hit or rub a speed bump.

welcome to the world of low.. if it wont clear.. find another path
(except in chicago where they are apparently making roads that are Anti-nicely dropped cars)

yeah I dont have any issues with speed bumps, sharp inclines to parking lots, or alignment racks..still have the "mud flaps"
Watch out for clearance issues from parking blocks and islands next to parking spaces (doors)...Ive never hit either but have seen several ppl do so..
and thanks for the late comments guys...just noticed them
