Finally decided to claybar and wax after 6 years...

So I finally decided to claybar and wax her after over 6 years. Its definitely much smooother to the touch now.

Took some quick pics after work yesterday. Not the greatest pics but here they are...

now you are going to get addicted and use a color cleaner- polishing with various levels of compounds to remove all the swirl marks- then get hooked on synthetic or synth blend car wax as final step-

wash- clay- polish- wax!!

Clean. I still need to wax mine. Too bad I have to wait a while before I can wax freshly painted bumpers and lips.

I did my first Clay Bar treatment last Saturday to my '07. I de-badged the rear, clay bared the car, polished and then waxed. It does look amazing. I'm old and slow and did the whole job in 4 1/2 hours.

i hear polish is not good for the paint. so don't plan on using that anytime soon.

thanks overboost. u still in the cerritos area? don't ever see you cruisin around.

yup i'm living at home in cerritos right now, so i'm ALWAYS driving around.

apparently, the sleeve on my ball joint ripped so i'll need to replace it. while i'm at it, i'm thinking of going lower by just a little...
