DUB upgrade

Hadn't posted pics i a while (thanks Astro)
I sold my 19" Privat Netz and decided to go 20"...no chrome though.
20" Menzari 01s on 225/35-20 Toyos
I also installed the 3A tips months ago, but never posted pics.
Let me know what you think...besides the fact that it needs to be washed.

Thanks, these are 20x7.5s +45. It is lowered with the Eibach Pro Kits. It doesn't rub...surprisingly. I've only put about 15 miles on it (from the shop to the driveway)

I had 19x8 Privat Nets that were a +40, that rarely...very rarely ever rubbed. I wanted to either A. Lower the car more and get some more 19"s or B. Keep it where it's at and go 20" that will stay under the fender. These worked well, and had more of a lip than the 19"s.

No, on the test fit, full turn both ways and my tech bouncing on the front end, the tire never touched, same thing on the rear. They actually sit in further under the car tha the 19"s did. (I also cut the bumper tabs back when I installed the 19"s)

I don't have the model # off hand. But I found the part# on A Zine, went to Advanced Auto and matched them up. I want to say it came out to about $28 for the pair. It took about 10 minutes to put them on ad I just flat blacked the mufflers and tip bolts.

It isn't easy to pull off 20s and look good on a 2g, good work!

nice and clean. The rims reminds me of the SSR Shumaker, but with a lot more spokes. Great Job

Thanks all
The 20" was a hard choice after looking at the ones on here and cardomain. The only ones I remember seeing here that I liked was the silver one with th GS300 front conversion, but his was hard to go by since it was slammed to the ground. There was also a blue 03 that looked nice, but it wasn't lowered. All the other ones just looked like it had too much wheel stuffed under the car which was a turn off IMO.

The tiallights...one of those things I've been wanting to do (along with the lip spoiler) but it just hasn't been high on the priority list. It's been very busy and extremely hot (as you can tell by the burnt grass in every yard)...100+ degrees for the past 11 days in a row

As they should, they are narrower and have a higher offset than your 19s

I'd love for it to be lower myself, I think it would look better if it tucked the tire a little, I just don't think it would be as driveable. So far it's scrub free

Pics should still be working

Thanks, I appreciate it. I really like the more full look with the Eibach drop (since they didn't lower the car much)

I saw it parked out front while I was driving by the other day. I'm usually against 20" wheels on the 2G, but you did it right. Nicely done, Greg.

Glad to see some people, like yourself, can pull of a good look with 20's. Not my thing personally, but I def. like the dub look on your ride. Good choice in rims too btw!

Thanks,
I wish I could lower the front maybe 1/4" more, but that's about all I have between scrubbing and not scrubbing. I always park on a slope at work. The slope is pretty steep when coming up and it is facing a window. I watched it this morning coming up and it just barely missed scrubbing (according to the reflection). It has yet to ever scrub so I think it's right in that "sweet" spot as far as height goes.

LOL at scrubbing...the term is rubbing, but I'd like it if it was actually scrubbing because it'd keep your tires clean.
