dropped on H&R

installed my H&R sports/KYB GR-2 setup friday. overall i really like the setup, a little stiffer than stock but not harsh at all. handling increase but not as much as if i went with tokico HPs or another performance shock.

before

After

now im still debating between typeS wheels or tsx wheels

not bad. I personally like no gaps! All you need now is some shoes, tint all the way around, and a kit!

Looks egggsellleeenttt!!! Great job! Type S (CL) wheels would look perfect on there! Pick up a set! The springs will settle a bit more over the next year or so. Mine settled enough to warrant a camber kit for my rear. Part 38720 Ingalls x 2.

i would love to kit it, unfortunalty the country roads around here are horrid. ive already had a few close calls scraping in and out driveways and such im still getting used to the difference but i think im going to just invest in some wheels and some more bolt on performance mods.

What the difference between OEM/stock ride quality in terms of smoothness and the HR drop. Give me any and all details that you have noticed thus far?

THX!!!

almost the same as stock as far as ride smoothness goes, exsept for big bumps are a bit rougher. the H&R defintly make the handling more responsive and less floaty than OEM. i like it and it is much better than my worn shocks with 107k miles. i would have liked it to be a bit stiffer, like if i had gone with tokicos but money is an issue.

Looks great with the drop, the KYB GR-2 setup with H&R sports is gonna be one of my next couple mods for sure. I drive on some rough roads as well and think that is just the right amount of drop for the car myself. Clean ride

looks great man! I absolutely love how those springs make our cars look, i think its a perfect drop. Have you had an alignment yet?, i just went in the other day and it turns out i already need a camber kit for the rear.....but hey thats the price im willing to pay just so i can stare at my car endlessly....haha. Good luck with yours!

Yea I got mine used off that guy on CarDomain that has a couple of DIYs. So It was prolly already settled in. I think My Shocks are going tho...Should of waited and got the shocks and installed at the same time but thats mad $$ SON!! I just couldnt wait. It looks mad sexy tho and I have very little Neg Camber in the back, In order to notice you gotta stare at the back wheels.

Here You see the difference of drop...The last pic was taken the day after the springs were installed. (I call it the Immediate Settle In)
