I bought my stuff at a window tinting place, which does graphics on the windsheild like your name or your car's name. It is dirt cheap also.

Question light dosent show through??

If the light does not show through, wont that call for a ticket? How much was it to get the tinting guy to do it? Im talking about labor and how long does it take?

I don't think the light shines through with just the reflector, it cost me $5 for labor and it took like 10 min.

Talking OH i see now

ok i looked at it good and you can still see the light from the side. it only took 10 mins! That looks awesome! So if you change the bulbs it will still be yellow right, because of the reflector I might go get my reflectors covered this weekend. Thanks for showing this, I really did not want to take apart the whole bumper and do all that stuff with the headlights. I hear that if you remove the reflector it voids the warranty too

sorry to be a BIGGR A$$, but why didn't any of you guys make a fuss when i posted pix of that A YEAR AGO.
i chose to go with a decal the color of my car (silve) cause it shows the reflector at night. here in florida we must have a reflector, so when a light hits my car at night, it see the reflector.
i also disconnected my blinkers, (meaning they only blink, they don't go on with my headlights) IT LOOOKS SOOOOO NICE.
i guess i'll mention it now before some prick copies me and gets all the props for it... it must fee good huh?

are you just putting the film over the headlight cover? or do you open the unit then cover with the film? cause some of the pics look like there over the cover... wont that peel? cause if it works good thats alot cheaper and easier then the "regular" clearing

hey jax,
i put the decal over buddy, so did maharaja.
i'm not sure how durable his actually is, being that it's a tint strip held on with that liquid that they spray on our windows...but obviously his hasn't peeled off yet.
mine howevever, VERY VERY STIRDY. i've had mine up like i said for more than a year and it holds up great. i even put it on some small paint chips i had on my front under body kit. it blends in very perfectly.
the decal is a very strong sticker basically and it's a bit hard to put on cause it's very very sticky. it's not hard to take it off, but obviously the more is sits on the car, the better it stays.
i redid mine a while back just cause i didnt like the curves on it too much... i wanted it more flush with the headlights.
i pulled it all off in one shot... it doesn't rip or tear.
try it, IT WORKS GREAT.
of course cleared lights look much better, but i think they are illegal accident wise. one can claim they didn't see your reflector as you approached a turn or something.
with this... THEY CAN'T
don't forget to disconnect your blinkers. make it so they only blink and not go on with your headlights... THAT'S WHAT I DID.
when you put your blinkers on, it shines through allowing the refector to be visible as well.
hope this helps!

all the junk i wrote i forgot to mention IT'S ONLY VISIBLE AT NIGHT WHEN THE BLINKERS ARE ON.
when i had the decal on before i made my parking lights only blink, they barely shined through at night (obviously the blinkers make the light brighter)

jax, the sticker is sooooo flush with the car, it's barely noticeable that it's a sticker...
btw, it'll take that moron a LONG time to peel that sticker off.
i have that problem however with my grille. i have three grilles on my car (top, and three bottom) and people always feel the need to touch the top grille and polk it and ****...I HATE THOSE MORONS.

maharaja, you replaced your bulbs with blue ones? How does that look with the covered reflector? can you see the blue light or is it still slightly yellow because the reflector is still there? can you post a pic with the hazards on so i can see what this looks like? I really would like to do this to my TL.
