anyone have a picture of the icebox installed in a 99. preferably a whole engine bay shot, im thinking about getting rid of my v2. i would do a search but im at work, and we have DSLow

 

CT ice box looks like a stock intake box.. why would u want to get rid of your v2?

 

i love the sound of the v2 at WOT, but the hum at idle is soo loud and anoying. im sick of telling people that there is nothing wrong with my car. my old shortram didnt even hum that loud.

 

i can see that your humming is pretty loud, but i would not ditch the V2 for the icebox. the v2 is so much better and at WOT it sounds so much better than the icebox. the icebox is nice if you want a stock look and still get performance gains. if i didn't have a type s i would be all over the v2. just my $0.02.

 

What LeeDan said. I have a V2 too. I was thinking about the Icebox, but if I'm going to do the six speed, might as well keep it until then.

 

i ditched the v2 for the icebox... i like the icebox alot more.. looks stock just says comptech sport
