Can This Be Repaired?

So I've had a Sub in my car for about 1.5 years.

Ive recently noticed the screws that hold down the sub to the box have been randomly showing up around my trunk.

I've recently tried to screw them back on but the holes the screws were going into, well, they dont screw in anymore; they just go in and out.

I would drill new holes but I have a problem:

Whenever I put the bass up and the sub bumps alot, it kind of comes out of place. Here are pics:

Here I am lifting it so you guys can see what really is happening. It just goes back down like the previous pics once I let it go:

Here it is in its normal state:

Yes, I know. I'm missing screws but their useless unless I make new holes.

I also noticed some glue was coming out. If I do end up drilling new holes, the screws still wont hold down the sub. If you look closely at the pics, the screws that were being used wont hold down that ring. I'm sorta a noob when it comes to this stuff. This is my first car and obviously first system. (I believe the amp puts out 600 watts, idk what the sub handles)

THANKS!

Also, how much would another subwoofer cost. I'm thinking of getting something else, better, but use the same box. Box is not ported.

Another thing, If I put it back under that ring it'll sound fine, but I can't put it too loud or else...

I don't believe so.

I think that once the seal is broken that is it unless you want to throw some duct tape on it and call it a day.

Also repair might be the same as getting a new sub.

and also, the screws you got holding the sub down looks to be tap screws. these screws are normally for metal, aluminum, etc. they dont hold great on wood.

Yea wrong section. I always do that lol

They are tap screws, but they came with the sub.

I just need a sub with some correct screws I guess.

How much you think I'm looking at? 80 bucks? 100?
