99 TL with Chrome Type-S Rims

Car is purely stock, with the exception of the taillights and wheels . . .

Followed the path of a fellow member of this forum (CJCITY I believe is the username). Had a set of the TL-S originals that was exchanged for a set of chrome thru Discount Tire's program. A $660 investment.

That TL is perfect just the way it is. I know from speaking with him in PM that he's like me, he prefers the TL to be stock. And his car is a great example of how good the TL looks just as it comes (I don't consider the S rims or 02-03 tails as modification). Contrary to popular opinion on this board, I believe the modding should be left to Civics and not put on luxury sedans - just my personal opinion. I love seeing well-cared for, stock TLs. I have much more respect for his car than for a modified TL - but to each his own, that's just my

stock is to simple....droppin it putting different rims makes it look more aggressive and also adds a touch of your own sense of style.. plus if you do the correct mods youre not only doing it for stlye but for performance...if droppin it and doin other mods was only for civics than everybody has been wrong all this time..

It's a 4-door Accord V6 in a tuxedo. It's got 225hp, it's almost 7 years old, and it has 135,000 miles. What is aggressive about that?

Personally, my reaction to it was the year and mileage compared with the way it looks. The chrome factory rims add a touch of class to it. I hope my car ages so well. His TL is an example of how Acura meant for the car to look, and I'd say it's a success.
