So, today I recieved my LED SMD with 5 bulbs (360 degree view) from superbrightleds. I put them on and they looked amazingly brighter than any license plate light I have ever seen!

But, I have to admit.. my friend wanted some competition and got the same thing but from another place called iJDMToys.. they aren't necessarily that much brighter but they are whiter than the ones from superbrightleds. Anyways.. here's a pic.

What do you guys think? Sorry, I had to blur out my license plate number, I don't want any creepers. But that pretty much gives you an idea of how bright it is.

looks good, i got the 3led one but dang urs is bright... but its ok i dont want my license plate lit up too brightly

Haha.. it doesn't really matter for me.. I mean nowadays.. luxury cars always get the LED treatment so it kinda blends me in. It's barely even noticeable when you're around a pack of cars. When you're alone on a dark street, that's when it becomes noticeable.

You should of gotten an LED strip since you only have one bulb.

I have these for my trunk and they are crazy bright.

Nice! I remember this being one of my very first mods, I loved the hyperwhite look so much. I now have a custom box with 2 5W highpower LED plates in mine.

Awesome.. the funny thing is that I never knew they were that big.. I met the owner of the company in person at his office.. and he says he's going to the SEMA show in Vegas in a few days.. and his office is in my city, awesome.

I have the spotlight one and it seems brighter than yours. If you wanted bright, you should've gotten some 4" CCFL's for PC's from Fry's.

Still looks good nevertheless.

Hm.. I think mines look good enough. I noticed it starts really bright from the top of the license plate and as it gets lower and lower it becomes less brighter.. oh well. It's the brightness I wanted so its all that matters. You live in the 818?
