I want windshield tint but I know I'll get pulled over once I leave the tint shop.

I know the tint laws in Florida are different than most places but windshield tint is still illegal there no?

Headlights will get some love next week...
It is illegal in FL to have windshield tint, but the sun out here is crazy, plus so many people has them already that makes me feel like they dont bother as much... Matter fact, last night i got pulled over and they didnt even mentioned the windshield...

Thank you bro... I really dont think that the tailights would make much of a difference... if I get a good deal on a set i might think about it, but for now im ok the way it is... Mudflaps dont bother me either... plus i love the fact that the fronts are half way worn out!!! =D

Next plans are:
1- Paint the front bumper which is messed up from NY parking.
2- Make sure the rear bumper aligns good.
3- Clean up the headlights
4- I want to paint the roof Wet Black
5- Front foglights
6- I want to do something with the grill, but I still dont know what
7- Debagged the rear (I just want to leave the ACURA lettering though)

215-50-17 is stock size (on mine)....running a 215-40-17 WILL throw off the speedo.... When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 55.9mph (90km/h): 6.8% slower.

or since yours is a TL-P which comes with 205-60-16's.....When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 55.6mph (89.5km/h): 7.3% slower.

is there an equation to figure that out?

I mean I could bust out my physics text but and look up rotational dynamics again but if someone has it handy...

Is the Speed indicated on a GPS (TomTom) accurate?

I have an idea on how that works but is it less accurate than your actual speedometer?

I'm guessing the GPS Speedometer works like this:
Takes the location you are and compares how fast you get to the next location....does some arithmetic with distance and time to get speed...but how accurate?

It might, but IDK the times that I got pulled over for speeding, the cop was right on the money !!! plus I have a double din Radio with GPS and the speed that reads matches to the one on the cluster...

Nice start o.p.

I second that, my navi speed matches what the cars cluster shows.

yup this is true. I'm running a 215/45 on my 3g wheels and my speedo is about 3mph off. a 215/40 is just stupd small if you ask me... Thats the sizes civic run....

What are you dropped on OP?I cant tell if it's the low pro tires making you look low, or you are actually low... haha

215-45 compared to the stock 215-50....... When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 58mph (93.4km/h): 3.3% slower.
