Considering that the exhaust gets really hot, wouldn't the zip ties melt?

Now take some hi-temp flat black spray paint and coat the 3 bolt areas and the rear of the tips....they will disappear!....makes the shiny tips stand out on their own without seeing those bolts sticking out!.....g

your uneven height between the muffler tips are not too bad compared to mine, which looks quite severe. I kept eyeing it back then when I was buying the car but said bahhhh, at the price I'm paying I guess I cant say much. I have no clue how to fix that, maybe I should just try to push the other one down but dont know if i would break something.

You can maybe try to get another rubber exhaust hanger and put that one on the hanger closest to the tip...so you'd have two on that hanger...the added strength may keep your exhaust up more...that's what I did for my right comptech exhaust, and it helped a lot

LOL sorry Im a complete noob and wouldnt really know what to do. Heck I might just even push the muffler down. My problem comes close to this guy's, which is making me second think about buying exhaust tips because it might look funky.

is there a model number of a shorter version that wouldn't stick out past the stock bumper (without lip kit)?? They look good but if they stick out past the bumper it looks horrible in my mind...

Does it change anything in the performance of the car or is it just for the looks?

Unfortunately bro, I purchased the tips from the local Pep Boys late last year. Therefore, I don't have a part number for the tips. If you do a search, look for the slanted and resonated tips that are 9 inches in length and have a 4 inch outlet.
