2g tl pics

mmmm, changed the hood and bumper and headlight and fogs all JDM.
whats a new mod I should do to her? I don't wanna spend much, 2 things I wanted to do is lower the car on coilovers and buy a lip kit.

I also debadged the Acura part (I still have to re-paint rear bumpers, getting them done this week) oh I also removed the "Blacked out Tailights"

my goal is to do the "hellaflush" type of thing in the future.

Anyways, here you go.

I'm gonna sell these rims and tires and put in the stock ones for now and buy coilovers with them. Would you suggest to paint the stock rims or no?

I obviously need to drop this car sooooo bad.

Thanks, also tell me what you think!

Well it looks like you have a fresh canvas to do what you wanna do. I personally (others will disagree) think that the type s wheels only look good stock and sometimes painted white they look pretty cool.

Nobody has ever made a car uglier with coilovers so you're off to a good start.

Smart move selling the current wheels. Don't think they do this car any justice.

might as well remove the "3.2TL" badge as well since you went the debaged route.

Talked to a buddy of mine he said to sell the rims and tires for money and buy coilovers, guess I will do that. I can try to find type-s wheels. Thanks man!

Check out the 2nd Gen's Photo Gallery for some ideas. Sometimes pics showing other TL's of the same color helps to visualize the desired appearance that you want. Lowering along with the lip kit and rims always makes a visual impression. The total package is dependent upon how much you're willing to allocate towards the look !!!

Covert your HIDs over to 6000k for your low beams and for your fogs. They'll look much better.

"hellaflush" instructions

install oem lip kit.
drop it on coilovers.
get some 18x9 low offset wheels.
stretch some rubbers on them.
grab a beer and call it a day

Get new fog light bulbs, the stock ones look eh. If you are going for a JDM look, then get 3k plug and plays (like $7 from ebay and dont require a ballast).

Edit: Photos for reference

Looks good so far. Slammed + stock wheels/tires looks funky. Need to get that fixed and possibly spacers! Good job!

I do have yellow film on my fogs, but im taking off the film when i have time (probably tomorrow). I can post an output picture for you if the light is good if you want. My friend runs these on his TL without film and the output is really nice, he is how i found them

I shall cop these lol, it'll look weird cause I have yellow lights and the housing is clear lol, but I'll still get it. Ahhhhh a picture would be great I have to bet to buy it.. I checked the compability and it says: This part is not compatible with 2002 Acura TL.

On ebay you are limited to putting 400 cars on he compatability list, our gen is kinda old so it probably wasnt included. Our fog light's have a 9006 connector so these will fit (check the manual if you dont want to take my word for it)

I did but the pic i took doesnt really do it justice because my driveway isnt asphalt.

The output is a lot clearer then i expected, im pretty pleased with it.

After i get off work ill stop by an empty lot and show you what it looks like, pretty much the ground infront of your car is yellow then slowly turns to white at about 5-7 feet

they'll "burn" in or "warm" up but only to a certain point. to get the absolute "yellow" i've bought some film to tint it yellow, not sure if you're into that yellow tint on it.
